`run diagnostics cable` with BPEs don't work

Hi All,

From my experiments, it seems that BPE ports in VPEX stack don't work with `run diagnostics cable` commmand; the switch just returns "slot <bpe_slot_number> not present". The command was tested on two X690 switches configured in stack and in VPEX mode with 20 BPEs connected; both CBs run on EXOS major version 31.7.

Is it possible to run this command against BPE ports and if not, are there any plans to support cable diagnostics on BPEs?

I'm pretty sure that this is a hardware limitation of the BPEs. I've previously asked to have the cable diag command documented in the command reference, which will put a hard stamp on any limitations. Look for more info in the 33.5 command reference and user guide once that version releases.
