topic 5320-48p-8xe core switch setup in ExtremeSwitching (EXOS/Switch Engine)

I am trying to set up an Extreme 5320 as my core layer 3 router. For love of all that is good in the world and all the computer power of AI, I can't seem to figure out the setup configuration in ExtremeCloud IQ pilot or Extreme Platform One. When I upload the config, I get several errors. EX: Lost connection, cannot remove the VLAN that was created from the initial onboarding, Error 500, etc. I have a pretty basic spoke and hope network, with a handful of VLANs, in-band management, so it shouldn't be that hard. I am starting to wonder if it's even possible to configure it as the core router using cloud, because of all the default safety guards in the GUI. Is it possible?

What's best practice for something like this? I am doing a forklift replacement of all my switches, and coming from Aruba. I am overhauling the VLAN and subnets at the same time, so I need to do a hard cut over to prevent VLAN ID and subnet conflicts.

How do you perform the cross-over from the onboarding internet to the static internet on it's on vlan without it loosing it connection and failing?

How do you set the management VLAN? I planned to set it to the same VLAN as my DHCP server and other core servers to keep management simple since I am a one-man IT department. But this seems to add complication when setting network policy.
