Hi,

The 5120 is an L3 switch, but it has limited capabilities regarding the number of IP interfaces and routing capacity; it was designed to be an aggregation switch rather than a core switch.
Regarding auto-sense, that is a Fabric Engine capability. EXOS supports Fabric Attach, which allows Extreme APs to self-configure and automatically assign VLANs/ISIDs; however, this requires the network core to be Fabric-enabled.
If management is handled via XIQ, automation is possible using Instant Port Profiles or, even better, EP1 Security.
Raúl

Hi,

The limitation of the 5120 is the number of IP interfaces and the IP ARP tables.
