Issues with gbic 10gb, the same gbic works on others model (x450-g2).

When you try the same SFP with x450g2, is the other end device and port were same?

What is the exact model of the one you are trying to populate?

"X450-G2 also provides a choice of either 4 1GbE or 4 10GbE uplink ports on the front faceplate"

Yes, but if i CONECT on any sfp port in other model (x460,x670) the gbic is recognize.. I update, downgrade de firmware, now is on versio 21.xx

I am having a similar issue with 440s. The same GBIC will work in a 440-P but not in a 440-T

On the X440 G2s 10G is enabled by license can you verify the license is installed?

Yes, is this model, but i can use this port for stack without license. If i connect the same gbic(10g) in any other model, the gbic is recognized.. If i put the other gbic (1g), is recognized in the same port of x440-g2

Have you configured them as alternate stacking ports?

You may want to run a Diagnostic on the hardware. This will require the switch to reboot and be taken out of service.

To run diagnostics on Summit family switches, use the following command:
run diagnostics [extended | normal | stack-port]

Where the following is true:
● extended —Reboots the switch and performs extensive ASIC, ASIC-memory, and packet loopback tests. Extended diagnostic tests take a maximum of 5 minutes. The CPU is not tested.
● normal —Reboots the switch and performs a simple ASIC and packet loopback
● stack-port —Performs a BERT on the stacking ports and reboots the switch.

On Summit family switches, you run the diagnostic routine on the switch or on the stacking ports.Running the switch or stacking port diagnostic routine affects system operation; the switch is
unavailable during the diagnostic test.

No.. any port is the same error, on others models recognize, gbics (1g) recognize.. i don´t have other x440g2, only x450g2 or x440..
