I would like to set our K6 and our B5 switches up to use SSH Public/Private keys. When I increased the verbose settings on the client that I was connecting to the switch with, it reported that publickey was available for an authentication method. How can I implement this?
No, not yet. I have started looking into ways of accomplishing this, but to no avail. Since in most ssh server configs there is an authorized_keys file located in the .ssh folder of the user account that you are login in as. I have tried to put a file in the config folder of a B5, but that did not work as well. If I discover how to accomplish this I will post the solution here. However, if anyone else discovers this before I, please post the solution. Any help is greatly appreciated.
