      <description>Per &lt;A href="https://documentation.extremenetworks.com/exos_22.4/EXOS_21_1/Slots_and_Ports/r_limitations-and-requirements.shtml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener"&gt;the documentation&lt;/A&gt;, you should pair Summit with Summit, so this should be fine. &lt;BR /&gt;
I've been using MLAG between an X460 and a BD8806 for several years in one of our labs with no problem, despite the warning. Of course, only do this at your own risk </description>

      <description>You can mix different platforms, but this is not really recommended. As long as you consider your less capable switch to be enough for the work, it should be ok.</description>
