Hi,

I'm not an expert with LLDP-MED related configuration, but let me try to share my ignorance.

Can you please capture what the phone/switch are sending? googling a bit I have read a few issues with Polycom and the presence of optional TLV set to null. It would be interesting to check that first.

Can you paste the LLDP config as well?

and Merry Christmas!
I will take a look after the holiday when the client returns. The configuration is the "standard" suggested by Extreme in several posts here on the hub and in technotes. Nothing fancy... Polycom just seems to stay on the default VLAN no matter what. I'll grab the trace and upload after the new year. Thanks for the offer of assistance. I too am not an LLDP expert and not sure where else to look...
