Hi Tamil,

As per the outputs i believe the PSU in the slot-3 is causing the error logs since it is the new one installed as per odometer age.

Do you not see any error message with the PSU-3 removed from the switch?

Can you try with a different PSU and see if the errors still occurs? or the PSU 3 in different switch and see it causes the same error message.

With these information i would suggest to open up a case with GTAC for the same.

you could add these additional outputs as well
"show switch"
Hi Karthik,

Thanks for the quick reply .We tried with multiple power supplies and different slots in the switch , but still issue is there. Anyway we are checking WRT the power source for that power supply.
We can send replacement PSU Controllers, but you're right, if there's an older 8810 chassis the "8900 Series" cards won't work.

Tamil, can you share the output of
code:
show version

? I can check to see if EtherMAN's hypothesis could apply.
Hi Tamil,
The issue with the 8810 Chassis and 8900 modules only affects serial number codes 0533x-xxxxx or earlier. So yours doesn't have this problem.
That doesn't mean there isn't a potential problem with a PSU itself or the PSU Controller.

The only other potential issue I notice in your output above is that your input voltage is >55 VDC. The PSU should be supplied with -48VDC @ 50A.
Over time, voltage outside of tolerance can cause undue stress on components and lead to premature failure. I'm not saying that is the case here, but is a possibility.

In this case, I would suggest reducing supply voltage to 48V and seeing if the problem resolves itself. Beyond that, this would best be solved by GTAC.
https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/How_To/How-to-contact-Extreme-Networks-Global-Tec...
Thanks,
