extreme summit x440 ping from management port to tftpd server issue

I forgot the admin password for extreme summit x440-48t-10g.
In order to factory reset i have tried this:

config none is not working for me

from console port I have entered bootrom by pressing space bar.
I could set ip address and as a gateway i set ip of tftpd server but im unable to ping tftpd server
Here in the community i read that ip setting and pinging needs to be done from management port. When I switch console cable from console port to management port it is hanging.

Please guide me how to use management port in order to download image and factory reset summit x440?

The management port is a Ethernet port = just switching from console port to mgmt port doesn't work > you need to switch the other end of the cable (connected to the PC) from the serial port to the PC Ethernet port as well.

Also for it to work the mgmt port needs a IP address or you are not able to telnet/ssh to the port.
