topic Can SNMPv3 be configured to use radius for the authentication on EXOS? in ExtremeSwitching (EXOS/Switch Engine)

We're looking to implement SNMPv3 across many clients and at the same time, move our MSP management accounts to a cloud-based RADIUS platform. Is it possible to use RADIUS for the authentication of an SNMPv3 agent?

Hi Eric,

SNMPv3 only support either MD5 or SHA1 for authentication. I don't think you can use RADIUS for authentication in this case.
