Hello! Can Extreme switches make copper test, like "test cable diagnostics"? It's very good solution for access switches? To test is cable broken or not and on which distance. Or some workaround. Thank you!

I am so glad you brought this up.

There is an option for this on the Extreme, I have seen a GTAC guy do it. I just don't recall the commands.

Hopefully someone can chime in with the correct syntax.

unfortunately not. I believe it requires some extra features in 21.1.2 to do this.

Will need to test, but I'm almost sure I had a quick and dirty version of the script running with 15.6... assuming the x430 chipset supports the feature.

We have lots of X440 and X430 which does not supported by 21.x.x. Looking forward to see this feature on version 16.x.x.

On the EOS switches (B-Series, C-Series, etc.) the command is

show port cablestatus
