x435 mgmt interface going offline sporadically

Hello,

We have an X435-24P-4S running Software Version: 31.2.1.1
which was boarded via ExtremeCloud IQ and getting its IP address for the mgmt interface from a DHCP server.

For no apparent reasons the mgmt interface goes offline for 8 hours, comes back, goes offline for 10 hours, etc..
There isn't anything else we noticed.

Did anyone hear about this kind of behaviour and would share their ideas?

Hi Klaus?

Is it just disconnecting from the CloudIQ instance?

Do you have a data port also plugged in to the same upstream switch/firewall as the management port?

Hi Chris,

The switch is unreachable (ssh, CloudIQ). We cannot ping it from another switch in the same VLAN, cannot ping its gateway.
GTAC is looking at it. Will keep you posted.
