Hello,

Does anyone know if Exos has a command to remove all configuration from a given interface like Cisco has the "default interface"

Regards
Not sure if there is a specific command but there is a way to do this... We have on occasion turned a multi-vlan trunk port into an edge single vlan port and what we do is create a port share using the port we need to reset to zero configuration as a member of the port share.

so if port 2 is your port you want to wipe you create a port share using un-used port as the master and port 2 as a member and it will blank port 2 out as it now needs to have same configuration as the master port. After you create the share you can tear it apart an now port 2 has no configured vlans...

This method does not effect any traffic on the vlans or services you were trying to cleat off port 2.

this is for physical interface configurations only and not for ip interfaces..
