i would hazard a guess at bcm being one of the broadcom chip/ICs used inside the switch. so as prusso says contact tac. (from conrad_jones)

Hi,

on a X450a-24x we are getting BCM error detected on module 0. We tried several XOS versions, up to 15.1.3 and still the message is here and we getting packets dropped by switch. Question: what is BCM? Is there a way to fix this problem and how?

Thanks.

Hello ViadotasThe best thing to do is open a case with TAC and let them determine the root cause. That error usually refers to a HW issue where the switch may need to be replaced. Only TAC can verify the problem and issue the replacement.ThanksP (from Paul_Russo)
