The problem was some wrong multicast packets incoming from a customer who has l2vpn, the impact was just slow cli and snmp.
About 20% each process.

Hello,

Having issues with a X460-G2 high CPU usage where an icmp directly to the CPU are being dropped and snmp also.

Forwarding traffic is okay including mpls tunnels.

The strange thing is that I never saw this process bcmL2MOD.0 and bcmASYNC, and seen to be the problem.

Any advices?

Thank you!

Julian,

This is indicative of a hardware learning problem on the switch. You should contact the GTAC and get a case opened on this.

Any changes in the network? How high is the CPU?
