Connecting New C5K125-48 onto the Network

We are new to using Enterasys C5K125-48 switches ON OUR Network and we wish to add a new C5K125-48 switch to the Network.

We have added an IP address to the new switch and it can be seen as a neighbor but we cannot ping.

We have also untagged for management on the connection ports but to NO avail.

Kindly provide us a step by step configurations on how to add a new C5K125-48 switch?

Hello. In which VLAN you configure your ip address?

It´s important that you configure also the host vlan. Then you can reach your Switch.

set ip address x.x.x.x mask x.x.x.x gateway x.x.x.x

set host vlan xxx

Port ge.1.20 has a port Admin Edge of Non-Edge-Port

If it says Edge-Port

set spantree adminedge ge.1.20 false
