I suggest opening a case with TAC.  I did search for internal information on this error and in the cases I saw there was a RMA involved.&lt;BR /&gt;

Hello, I am receiving the following error when attempting the save command:&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
# save&lt;BR /&gt;
The configuration file primary.cfg already exists.&lt;BR /&gt;
Do you want to save configuration to primary.cfg and overwrite it? (y/N) Yes&lt;BR /&gt;
Saving configuration on master ....... error!&lt;BR /&gt;
Error: Input/output errorSetting gCmServer.configCurrent to NULL!!&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
This switch is an X250e-48t.  It appears the last time the config was saved was on 15 Nov 2012.&lt;BR /&gt;
