Hi

I am from Sydney, trying to configure black dimond 8800 series modular switch.

I have to create trunk between Switch and Juniper firewall.

Here is config I am putting on switch

configure vlan SCTP_INT_1 add port 1:1 tagged

configure vlan SCTP_INT_2 add port 1:1 tagged

configure vlan CCN1_1_Sig add port 1:1 tagged

configure vlan CCN1_2_Sig add port 1:1 tagged

configure vlan SCTP_1 add port 1:1 tagged

configure vlan SCTP_2 add port 1:1 tagged

configure vlan UDC_SS7 add port 1:1 tagged

My question is it is not allowing me to use "untagged" more than once in the same port configurartion. If all vlan traffic is tegged with respectiv VLAN IDs does its going to affect connection on Firewall side as firewall also tag their paket.

Please help.

HI, As long as the VLAN-TAG's are same on BD8800's and Juniper Firewall, the TAGGED VLANS's will communicate across.

However you can only use 1 Untagged VLAN per PORT.
