Does this upgrade require intermediate steps or it can be done directly? I mean is it a single-step upgrade or multiple? We have X460-48t switches.
Thank you, can you please comment on how to check bootrom compatibility for the EXOS 16.1.3.6 patch 1-9? Currently I have BootROM: 2.0.1.7 IMG: 15.6.1.4

Anil,
It could be upgrade directly. The only require intermediate steps is upgrade from 12.3.x or below to 15.x.

Anil, that's the newest BootROM available right now. It will work fine with the newest EXOS versions.
I would recommend v16.1.3.6-patch1-11 or even v16.1.4.2-patch1-7 instead of patch1-9 that you've mentioned.

I just upgraded a 460 to 16.1.3.6 patch 1-9 and i lost my ssh function, be sure to get the ssh mod before you upgrade and enable telnet (if disabled) before the reboot.
Good point; thanks for bringing that up. As long as the SSH module is installed before the reboot, there shouldn't be any problem with access afterwards.
