Hello All, I am a newbie to Extreme network. One of our X450e-24p switch is in rolling reboot mode. What parameters i have to check what went wrong why its rebooting.

I am getting below message and not able to go into the bootstrap after pressing space bar.

Is there any way we can do hardware reset ?

You have broken control plane on sw and need RMA, reset don't solve your problem. (from pacan4ik1_pacan4ik1)

hello sanjaymp

not sure what may be going on. You can get into the bootrom of the switch by holding the space bar while connected tot he serial port of the switch. the switch will first go into the bootstrap simply type boot and continue to hold the bootrom. once in the bootrom you can see the commands using the ? for help.

you can factory default the switch using the command config none. then try to see if it comes back. If not then do the same process and try the other image.

If that doesn't work then you will need to call TAC.
