How to check Serial No. and System No. of EPS from its connected Extreme Switches?

Is there any way to check Serial No. and System No. of EPS (External Powersupply) from Extreme Switches.

Hi Paul,
I don't think you can retrieve the EPS information from the switch, but I could be wrong.
I'll see if I can get our lab team to test this on Monday morning to help be sure.

I also noticed that you're running EXOS 12.1, which is rather old. I'll see if this makes any difference in the results.

Hi Paul,
I haven't forgotten about this. I've got to dig up the right cable to connect the EPS to the switch. While I'm looking, are you using the EPS-160 or EPS-T? Same cable, just a different External PSU... we have both.

Hi Paul, I am using a X460, which gives me an output like the one below:

PSU-2 :
You're on a X250, running version 12. I am not sure you'd see a output similar to what I have probably because the X250 doesn't have a field replaceable (modular) PSU, but again, I am speculating on this one. Will wait and hear back from the team!

I do not believe that the EPS will report serial numbers to the switch. However, I'll wait for the results of Drew's testing for a final result.

Hi Paul,
As expected, the X250 is not able to pull serial numbers from the connected External PSU. While looking for a cable, I asked one of our hardware engineers who happened to have the wiring diagrams... there's no data link between the EPS and the switch in this connector.
