Does the voucher number expire to generate activation keys for the licenses?

We have purchase several voucher numbers for black diamond 8806 core licenses, but we are not going to install it in a couple of years. We have not generated the license keys yet because we do not know exactly which switches will be destined. Does the voucher number expire to generate activation keys for the licenses?

Hi Javier,

The license voucher doesn't expire. The voucher serial number is an actual asset in our system and is what's used to generate the license key to be applied on the switch.

Hi Javier,

Adding to Brad, Voucher will be tied to serial numbers only at the time of generating a license,(we will be able to check it in our systems) i would suggest to open a GTAC case to validate the vouchers as you already know do not post any voucher information here.

As far as I know, you can only active the license in a few years if you have a active service contract for that item and the BD 8K isnt End-of-Service.
