I'm using first the command configip address 192.168.1.100/24 gateway 192.168.1.10 and then download image 192,168,1,10 summitX-16.1.1.4.xos

I'm new with the extreme so if there is a better way let me know.

Trying to upgrade the image from 15.3.1 to 16.1.1.4 through the bootRom but I keep getting a message saying that this is not a recovery image or it might be corrupted. I have tried different xos but with thw same results.

Hi Carlos,
What is the command and filename you're using in the BootROM? I'm also curious to know the reason you're using the bootrom method and not upgrading from within EXOS?
Welcome to Extreme (and The Hub)!
Take a look at this article: How to Obtain and Upgrade EXOS It will help explain the normal way to upgrade.
The BootROM method will erase all config on the switch, which you probably don't want to happen.
