Is it possible to transfer a license "core" of a switch to another?
If Yes, what would be the extraction procedure?Need to keep a switch as a backup in case the primary fails.Or is there any idea that can meet this need to license?
Hello AndreNo there is no way to move a license from one switch to another. The license is tied to the serial number of the switch. If you have a switch that has a core and it is under support then the replacement switch will come with the voucher to make it a core license.Hope that helps.P (from Paul_Russo)
