    Using the Summit X440-24p series switch we can create native  stacking. But alternate stacking is not supported.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
    In Summit X440 series switch with 10 G ports we have option  to configure alternate stacking by configuring the 10G ports for stacking ports  using below command “configure  stacking-support stack-ports all selection alternate” &lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>As Naresh has said, stacking is supported for all X440 switches, but alternate stacking is possible only on the 10G models.
