Want to create alternative stacking on Summit X440-24p series switch??????

Hi Alok,

Using the Summit X440-24p series switch we can create native stacking. But alternate stacking is not supported.

In Summit X440 series switch with 10 G ports we have option to configure alternate stacking by configuring the 10G ports for stacking ports using below command “configure stacking-support stack-ports all selection alternate”

As Naresh has said, stacking is supported for all X440 switches, but alternate stacking is possible only on the 10G models. You can find full details in the Hardware Installation Guide.
