Hi Eric,

You can "exclude" messages in the log.
see the following KB article.
Disable stacking errors when using one switch in stacking mode?

Have been troubleshooting some issues on X440 switches this week and one of the tools we use scrapes the logs for errors in addition from pulling data via SNMP. I noticed (for the first time), that the 440's throw a stacking error when they're setup with stacking enabled, but when only one unit is deployed. We often do this as a "best practice" to allow for dynamic expansion in the future without losing/blowing out the config. Is there any way to suppress these errors, and/or consider a feature in the future to define the number of stack members and only throw an error if they don't match? Might this exist already?

Thanks in advance!
