New Optics Compatibility tool available to partners and customers

A new tool, now available on the public web, displays supported optical devices for all Extreme Networks hardware platforms.

You can access the tool at https://optics.extremenetworks.com

The tool lets you search by ExtremeSwitching family and/or switch model to find the Extreme transceivers and optical cables that are qualified for those switches. It also lets you filter on optics features (such as data rate and distance) to further qualify your search. Search results are displayed on the screen and can also be exported to an external file.

Apologies: There was a bug earlier this week that prevented the tool from opening in certain browsers. We think we’ve fixed the bug, so please try again.

If you continue to see the problem, try clearing your cache. If the problem persists, let me know what browser you’re using and we’ll look into it.
