Hi

I installed a few A4 switches recently and realized that they are all showing high cpu utilization in the "SysIdleTask" process.

Does anyone know what this can be?

Is it a normal behavior?

Yes, this is normal. The utilization of the CPU seems to be fine as well. Nothing to worry.

SysIdleTask means unused resources that are available to your system.
System IdleTask is the % of CPU that is not being consumed by a process. So, seeing a low number like 10% would be bad.

SysIdleTask is a remaining CPU load after all other tasks
e.g. you have summary load 8% then this "task" will have (but not use!) 92%
What, is the process name bcmRX??

Because the CPU in C5K is 90 %
