Hi all !
I need turn on/off power on PoE ports from my application, not from web interface. Can I solve this task using automated telnet or SNMP commands for some switch models?

On the EOS switches (B-Series, C-Series, etc.), the commands to enable/disable are

set port inlinepower ge.x.x admin auto - enables PoE
set port inlinepower ge.x.x admin off - disables PoE

I'm not sure what the equivalent commands are for the EXOS switches.

On EXOS you can disable/enable PoE with the following commands:

To shut down PoE power currently provided on all ports on all slots.

disable inline-power

To shut down PoE power currently provided to all ports or to specified ports.

disable inline-power ports [all | port_list]

To enable PoE power currently provided on all ports on all slots.

enable inline-power

To enable PoE power currently provided to all ports or to specified ports.

enable inline-power ports [all | port_list]

I understand that it concerns management through telnet.
Especially I'm interested in the power management using SNMP, i.e. Power over Ethernet MIB(rfc 3621).

We provide the slot POE admin status through SNMP currently as below to control whether inline power is provided by the slot.
.1.3.6.1.4.1.1916.1.27.1.2.1.9

Another tool you can use via ssh or telnet is placing the commands in Extreme Management Center or the previous application Netsight Console but using the feature "execute command script" Jason

EXOS supports both RFC 3621 and EXTREME-PoE-MIB but all the OIDs are supported read-only.

So, I think you need to find another way to manage your PoE switches.
As Jason wrote above, how about using some scripts instead?
