      <description>If Summit X440 is 1G uplink model, they can be configured as a stack using SummitStack stacking ports on the rear side. But, Summit X440 is 10G uplink model, they can not be configured as a stack.</description>

      <description>As Kevin mentioned, we would need to confirm if the x440 is a 10G uplink model.  In the 'show switch' output, the Sys Name field it will show the full type of the switch, for example: Summit x440-48p-10G.  If the "10G" is present it will not stack with the x250.  If the switch shows as x440-48p it should stack ok.</description>
