      <description>the way your switch is behaving is quite strange. therefore,  i'll recommend a Firmware upgrade to the actual version. might help...&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>It shouldn't act this way. How you connecting computer ? Keep in mind that extreme console cable is quite different than cisco ones. Use blue console cable, connect via com and look what happends.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>nevertheless how you connect the PC, using copper or console cable, the right or the wrong console cable, i do think that  the switch shouldn't  shutdown....&lt;BR /&gt;
if you're able to use the console, then send us the output when it reboots...&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
