    <description>Hi, Harish.  The MM Fiber Optic patch cords are not supported for use as stacking cables with X440-G2. However, you can use SFP+ direct-attach cables in lengths of 1, 3, 5, and 10 meters. The &lt;A href="https://documentation.extremenetworks.com/summit/GUID-F1C00564-40B4-4828-9423-F25F4F5600F7.shtml" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener"&gt;Selecting Stacking Cables&lt;/A&gt; table provides a list of cable types that are supported for stacking with Summit and ExtremeSwitching brand switches.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>HI Frnds I have One Problem I want to Configure Stacking with Two  48 Switches of Model X 440-G-48t-10GE4 Switches. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
I dont Have Stacking Cable&lt;BR /&gt;
I want to Configure with Multi Mode Fiber Optic Patch Cord and  Multi Mode Modules&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
It Is possible To Conf With MM Fiber Patch Cord and Module..?&lt;BR /&gt;
If Yes...&lt;BR /&gt;
please Tell Me How to Do with Those.&lt;BR /&gt;

I Tried Below Steps But Only Master Switch only Activating&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Steps  &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
1.  SW1- Enable Stacking-support&lt;BR /&gt;
2.  SW1- configure stacking-support stack-port all selection alternate&lt;BR /&gt;
3.  SW1- Saved and Rebooted&lt;BR /&gt;
4.  SW2- Enable Stacking-support&lt;BR /&gt;
5.  SW2- configure stacking-support stack-port all selection alternate&lt;BR /&gt;
6.  SW2- Saved and Rebooted&lt;BR /&gt;
7. Connected Fiber Cable in SW1 49 Port and SW2 50 port&lt;BR /&gt;
8.  SW1- Enable Stacking&lt;BR /&gt;
9. SW1- reboot stack-topology&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
But It Stacking Is Not Working..&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
The Above Procedure Is Correct If Not&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Please Tell Me the Correct Procedure With Steps</description>

i once tried that setup you mentioned also on x440g2 - the 10 gig ports on the back side&lt;BR /&gt;
i also had 10gig sfp+ multimode modules and om3 patch cords&lt;BR /&gt;
it worked!&lt;BR /&gt;
maybe you need to cross/uncross them&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
for sure direct attach cables are cheaper, but if you don't have them you should also be able to test it with fibre equipment&lt;BR /&gt;
