Hi Lacp is for interoperability between multiple vendors. Lacp is Ieee standard. Lacp can more than 8 links which can be standby Static lag has its own limitations based on vendor. The above config u made is static lag

Hi PARTHIBAN,

Thanks, I want to create Link aggregation between 2 Extreme Switch. Now is only 1 link connected. What is the best solution? There will be any downtime or network loop may happend?
You should have the same lag configured on the peer switch. Once that's done u can connect both the links. If there is a misconfiguration then there is possibility of loop . But it's just one liner. Also u should add necessary vlans to the master port 47 to carry traffic
Can you please provide the command to check after the LAG configuration done at both switches?

Is it load sharing using 2 Link or only using Master port?

And how can we prevent if Loop occur. Unplug the link and remove config? Or it will still creating a Network loop?

Please advice.

Show sharing Then use show port 47,48 utilisation/statistics This should tell u if the tragic is load shared.

When we have right config we need not worry about loop. But for precautions we can enable elrp. Elrp can shutdown ports when loop is detected

Hello Folks, Could you please explain, what is the major difference between static and dynamic LAG? Is that only, dynamaic LAG supports different vendor switches and Static LAG supports only for same vendor switches ? Thank you very much in advance.
