    <description>So many times, a prior engineer has made some troubleshooting changes and sure enough, I log on and have no idea what those changes are (or, I make troubleshooting changes and don't remember if I did anything permanent). It'd be really cool if the "Do you want to save configuration to primary.cfg and overwrite it?" prompt included an "R" option that would show you the pending changes. Once it paged through them, it would present the same prompt where I can make a better decision about the disposition of the changes...</description>

      <description>Not all versions have this command but "show config diff" is similar to what you are asking for, if I'm understanding correctly. This command will show you changes before you commit them.</description>
