switch port is not present

Hi,

I have an extreme X350-24T switch.Its having 24 copper ports and 4 SFP's(Shared ports).
I tried to connect the uplink cable to 25th and 26th SFP ports but port status showin 'NP'..

Could anyone help me in this..?

You have 20 dedicated copper ports (1-20). The ports 21-24 are or copper or fiber. port 25 and 2 are on the back Those are for 10 G interfaces

Johan is correct. Please check http://enterasys.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/100286-00_Rev20_InstallGuide.pdf for some info on the ports in the back! I assume you used the XGM2 module in there. Hope this helps!
