Can't add a tagged port on a stacked secondary switch?

I have two x250e switches stacked together.

I can successfully add untagged vlans to ports on the first switch without an issue. But if I try to add an untagged vlan to a port on the 2nd switch (which was added to the first) then I get the below error message:

Error: Protocol conflict when adding untagged port 2:2. Either add this port as
tagged or assign another protocol to this VLAN.

Configuration failed on backup MSM, command execution aborted!

I can't see anything in the configuration to show why it would be having this problem but I must admit I'm quite new to extreme switches so I'm probably missing something obvious

okay, it was just my stupidty. The port was alreadt added to another vlan hence the error.

All fixed! 🙂
