here are the instructions to upgrade an ERS switch.

https://extreme-networks.my.site.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000080603&q=how%20to%20upgrade%20BOSS

The instructions on how to replace a switch in a stack will be in the user manual. You will find that in the documents page.

Unfortunately the ERS4800 are end of life and are no longer supported by Extreme.

your best bet to is reboot the stack and interrupt the boot with a CONTROL+C and default the switches.

send me a DM if you have issues.
