SR2208P wont connect xiq

Bought an SR2208P for my homelab it wont connect to my xiq account.

I think its an old firmware problem but i cant update it thru the xiq cloud.

Can i get newer firmware from my free cloud account ?

Greetings from Extreme Networks!

The Extreme Networks SR2208P switch (including part numbers AH-SR-2208P-EU, AH-SR-2208P-NA, and AH-SR-2208P-UK) reached End of Sale (EOS) on March 24, 2021. The End of Support (EoS) is scheduled for September 1, 2026.

Although the product is no longer available for purchase, support—including warranty coverage and technical assistance—remains available until the End of Support date. After September 1, 2026, no further support will be provided for the SR2208P series switches.

If the device is covered by a support agreement/service, it should be able to connect to HiveManager.

To verify Hive connectivity, run the following command on the switch:

#show hivemanager status

This command displays the status of the HiveAgent, which is required for cloud connectivity.

Additionally, the referenced Knowledge Base (KB) article may help with further troubleshooting.
