topic Fabric Attach in ExtremeSwitching (VSP/Fabric Engine)

Hello community,

I need your help, does anyone know how Fabric Attach is built between SW's EXOS and VSP 4850?

This without having to use SW's ERS.

Regards,

On the exos ensure that Lldp is enabled on all ports (tx all tlv's)
Create your vlan and assign an I sid to the valn:
Conf vlan x add isid xxxxxx

That is it for the exos

On the vsp side enable the interface for FA.
Disable fa authentication ( i seem to have red that this is now supported on exos).

And that should be it.

FA message authentication is supported as of XOS 30.2.
However, it remains off by default; so you either remember to enable it on the XOS side, or you disable it from the VSP side.
