topic SPBm with Extreme and Alcatel in ExtremeSwitching (VSP/Fabric Engine)

Hi all,

We are trying to setup a L2VSN connection between VSP 4k switches and Alcatel Omniswitch 6860 series.
For what we can see we have tried all the settings possible, but the only thing we managed is that the VSP appeared in the LSDB of the Omniswitch. At this point the VSP still was oblivious about the Alcatel.

Has anyone a working setup like this one? And can you share the configuration or parameters needed to get this working? I have found that at Interop 2013 this was succesfully tested, but no documentation is still present online as far as I can find.

kr

We found this one, but it did not help 🙂
Thanks for the reply.
Hi Yves,

Sounds like an interesting challenge.
Is it possible for you to show us running config from both devices and the connectivity diagram?

Kind regards,
