SNMPv2 - Group entry already existssnmp-server community read-view nnclipublicpublic

Hi,

Have an issue with an ERS 3600, version 6.1, SNMPv2 config that I am getting an error I don’t understand.

In sumary when issue the following command:

snmp-server community read-view nncli
public
public

I get an error that the it cannot modify settings as ‘Group entry already exists’.

Thought the issue might be to do with the community string public, but when issuing the command:

no snmp-server community public

It says there is no such community.

Had three switches, two out of the three the command works fine. If I compare the SNMP verbose configuration there seems be no difference that I can see between all three switches?

Be really grateful for any assistance.
