Hi All,

Is it possible that an Extreme Access Platform 1400 Series switch acts as an FA-Server?
To the Remote Office I want to extend my Fabric with Secure Connection. An there I want to extend the Fabric with Exos-Devices acting as FA Proxy.

Ralf,

XA doesn’t support FA Server for the moment.

It is in the roadmap features but not commited.

Ralf, the XA supports NNI’s, so you can extend the fabric to a fabric capable Access switch (5520, VSP4k, ERS).

thanks for your answers.

Roger I know that we can connect VSP or ERS to the XA. But ERS is to expensive for a Remote Office and ERS the customer do not want. I do not know the pricing of the 5520.
