    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yeah that is my understanding also.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also tested it now and worked fine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but Always nice with offical support as its a major protocol in critical infrastructions&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am very new to the Extreme Network side, just unpacked my first Extreme switch a few weeks ago. Coming from a Cisco/mixed Env.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And my company is runing Industry protocols alot.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And before you could just look at most of industry switches they will tell you "supports Profinet"&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but its hard do find any info on the Fabric Side.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we will have a big fiber node. and and have a A and B&amp;nbsp; x 5 paris switch.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and we want to use fabric connect.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but i cant find if i can run fabirconnect with profinet on it!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
