FABRIC ENGINE - MLT BANDWIDTH CALCULATION

Hi Team,

how can I see/calculate MLT bandwidth utilization? I doesnt matter via CLI, GUI or using XIQ-SE tools.

On CLI you can do this: monitor ports statistics <mlt-member-ports> interface utilization.
The % utilization will only show if you have significant traffic.

Else you select the ports in EDM and graph them for statistics.

An other option in EDM is to select in the menu "VLAN" / "MLT/LACP", then the "MultiLink/LACP Trunks" tab and then, when you select an MLT you can select "Graph".

The cli command for MLT's is "monitor mlt stats interface utilization".

Default monitor duration is 300sec with 5sec sample interval.
For ports, monitoring statistics are shown for 16 ports but the starting port can be specified.

thank you both for your answers, but I would like to monitor it in a graph on XIQ-SE using "collect port statistics" tool but I can find how to so , Is there anyMIB for MLT bandwidth to use in other snmp pool tool (PRTG, MRTG..)?

In XIQ-SE you can select "Collect Port Statistics" on a "Logical Ports" LAG interface, see screen shot.

After some (polling) time, you can view "Interface History".

That´s exactly that Im was searching but in my XIQ-SE with universal-hardware running rel 8.10.X I cant see logical ports for collect statistic.

Please, could you share the XIQ-SE rel and your hardware rel? flaviour? (voss, exos,other)

Hello EF,

You are correct, the LAG's in logical-ports are for industrial switches.
I checked on XIQ-SE and for VOSS/Switch-Engine devises (VSP and Universal switch types) LAG interfaces are not present in logical-ports.

I've opened a ticket, so you'll have to wait for the outcome of this.
