Thanks, but in IRIS, that product only seems to have a one-to-one relationship rather than one-to-four - IRIS does not provision a pigtail for this GBIC - I cannot connect the switch where the 10405 is added to a 7720 to a LR SM Gbic of another, except when I add the same 10405 to the another switch in a one-to-one relationship. Is IRIS wrong? Can you advise?

Need guidance on part number to split 100gb into 4x 25gb to single mode fibre much like diagram below, but unlike splitting 40Gb to 4x10gb:

Also, if part exists, is it supported on 7720-32C?

Part numer 10405 will get you 4 x 25 G with 2 km reach over SM. It is equipped with a pigtail with MPO contact that you can split into LC or SC with a suitable split box or another pigtail. It is compatible with the 7720 for both EXOS/SE and VOSS/Fabric.

Other manufacturers have come up with a 100GBASE-PLR4 that promises 10 km over SM where you can have 4 x 25GBase-LR in the other end(s).

Beware that you should monitor your FEC settings when running 25 G over any link type. FEC mismatch is a common cause for incompatibility when using 25 G. RS-FEC, called CL91 in Extreme EXOS, should be used in both ends.
