VSP7400 and Cisco WS-C2960CX-8PC-L Connection

Hello friends, I have the following problem, I would like to ask for your support.

I have a VSP 7400-48Y-8C and I need to establish a connection with a Cisco WS-C2960CX-8PC-L equipment is worth mentioning that the connection between the two teams will be made by fiber optics.

What I notice is that on the VSP 7400 side if a connection is created even the port is marked as UP but on the Cisco side it never recognizes the connection.

I already tried with gbic Extreme Networks and gbic EFO, I tried to force the speed to 1 GB on the VSP side but it does not allow me to change the speed. Use the following commands:

no auto-sense enable
auto-negotiate enable

speed 1000
but with speed it sends me error

In the cisco I can't modify the speed of the interface that is at 1 GB by default.

Someone who could help me with some advice or idea of how to establish this communication would be appreciated, thank you very much.

Did you try to disable autoneg on Cisco side with command "speed nonegotiate" on interconnected port ?

Hi, i agree with @Jave reply, i faced the same situation and the only thing that worked was to force speed nonegociate on the Cisco side
