on VLAN context, parameter "color" , what is it used for?

Hello EF,

the only thing I know ist in the past (Nortel/Avaya).

The color was used for COM (Configuration and Orchestration Manager) to show different vlan colors.

And I believe I remember that the JDM also displayed the colors.

This is a value (contained also in MIB), which might be used by Network Management systems to highlight VLANs with different colors on maps etc.

Current Extreme XIQ Siete Engine does not use these values, so quite useless to configure it these days..
