Hi,

I don know if this answer your question but if you do "ip vrrp ?" under int vlan level , you can see the max number of vrids you can configure:

But the maximun maybe more complex answer because, I belive you can use one vrid value on multiple int vlans.

Regards

EF

Hi,

I am looking for the maximum VRRP Interface available on a pair of 7520 in cluster ( V-IST) with Backup Master enable.

The Fabric Engine 9.2 Release Notes mention 500 but refer to page 68 with some kind of formulas.

In a simple configuration what is the maximum Interface available ?

Thank

Hello,

The maximum number of VRRP instances for 7520 switches is 500, see "VRRP interfaces (IPv4 or IPv6)" page 53 in v9.2.0.0 release note.
But it depends on the result of the formula on page 68 which provides you the number of VLAN/IP interfaces (not VRRP instances) that can be assigned.

The maximum number of VRRP ID's is 255 but, you can use in each VLAN one and the same VRRP ID.
You can also assign multiple VRRP addresses to the same VLAN, each with his unique VRRP ID.

Hope it help

regards
WillyHe
