topic FabricExtend through third-party IPsec tunnel - anyone tried? in ExtremeSwitching (VSP/Fabric Engine)

Hi all.

I'm curious to know if somebody already tried to do FabricExtend through third-party IPsec tunnels. I assume it should work, given some pre-requisites eventually to be guaranteed on both ends (L2 jumbo frames, accounting for encapsulation overheads for VXLAN, IPsec, Mac-In-Mac...)

F.

Yes I have done this in the past. Utilizing Fortinet firewalls. Of course the proper way of doing it would be through Extreme's SD-WAN solution.
