I wouldn't think a switch would have an effect on UPnP if normal IP connectivity is working as expected.
We recently upgraded from Avaya 4850's to Extreme 4950 switches. We are now having connectivity issues with our UPnP IP cameras after the upgrade. Are there any known issues with UPnP support for the 4950's?

what port speed do the camera's support?
what version are you running on the ERS 4950?

In the first versions there was a bug that 10/100 MBPS did not work. It was fixed in later releases.

Did your problem get resolved? If not, it would help if you described your problem in a bit more detail or even better open a case with support.
